1In this table, the count of first-time internationally educated candidates includes both RNs and PNs. |
It will be recalled that, last February 2007, NCSBN announced that the NCLEX will be offered in the Philippines. See related blog entitled, “NCSBN has selected Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, as a new site for the administration of the NCLEX® examinations.”
Relatedly, the pass rate for Foreign-educated nurses is 46.7%; for US-educated nurses the pass rate is almost double at 84.0% –

1 Number = the number of candidates taking the examination. |
||||||
Percentage = percentage of candidates passing the examination (Pass Rate). |
Notably, there is no specific pass rate for Filipino RN’s. The above-graph shows that pass rate of all internationally educated RN’s. The statistics for Filipino RN’s (being the highest number of test takers) would probably not be far off. Those who have specific information on this, do let us know.
