November 2008 Visa Bulletin – EB3 Priority Date is May 1, 2005

AlinsugLaw, October 20, 2008.  In the recently released November 2008 Visa Bulletin, the priority date for the employment-based visa category 3 (or EB3) moved to May 1, 2005.  This is a bit of good news for nurses whose priority dates have become current.  On another note, it seems unlikely that a new law to address the retrogression issue on a more or less permanent basis will be passed within the year.
